Cushionbank at RHS Chelsea Flower show

Hello cushion lovers! I'm thrilled to share an exciting tale of my first visit to RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the ultimate horticultural spectacle. The day was filled with vibrant colours, innovative designs, and an unexpected rendezvous with my brand, Cushionbank, in the heart of a beautifully crafted garden.

The moment I stepped in front of the MHLK Collective Garden Design's space, I felt as if I was transported into a painting. The garden was a perfect embodiment of "Timeless Expressionism," a canvas painted with bold strokes of hot pink and vibrant purples, inspired by ME+EM’s summer collection. Amidst the verdant tapestry, structural perennials stood tall, symbolising the enduring strength of women, while ornamental grasses rustled gently, offering a soothing melody in the urban cacophony.

But what made my heart flutter was the sight of Cushionbank's contributions to this enchanting setting. Nestled amidst the soft, romantic plantings was a Vincent Sheppard Kodo Cocoon chair, strategically placed to offer a stylish and comfortable seating spot. Adorning the chair were Cushionbank's cushions, tailored from elegant outdoor fabric from Misia Paris, a French fabric editor. Their striking contrast added a dash of sophistication, enhancing the chair's allure and creating a sublime fusion of comfort, style, and outdoor resilience.

This collaboration was a noteworthy milestone for Cushionbank, a testament to our versatility and commitment to creating pieces that transcend the boundaries of indoor and outdoor spaces. Seeing our cushions, curated specifically for this setting, come to life was truly an exhilarating moment.

But the surprises didn't stop there! Vincent Sheppard's Outdoor range made a charming appearance in another garden, the 'Money Doesn't Grow On Trees’ Garden, designed by Baz Grainger. The garden was a scented haven, featuring winding paths leading to a central water well and a communal dining area sheltered by a pergola. The use of Vincent Sheppard's Oda lounge chairs and Frida outdoor dining chairs transformed the garden into a cosy outdoor living room, becoming the perfect spot for BBC interviews amidst the beauty of the garden.

My maiden voyage to the Chelsea Flower Show was an enriching journey filled with endless inspiration. The collaboration with MHLK Collective and Vincent Sheppard was a delightful fusion of interior design with the outdoor world, reminding me of the vast possibilities that lay on the horizon. I returned, more inspired than ever, eager to create spaces that perfectly blend indoor comfort with outdoor charm.

Stay tuned, cushion lovers, as we continue to explore the boundless world of indoor-outdoor living with Cushionbank!
