My Journey

Hey there! I wanted to share with you all a little story about my lockdown journey. Like many of us, I found myself thinking about the future and how my work could adapt to this new reality. And that's when inspiration struck!

You see, I've always had a bit of a thing for fabrics and patterns. I've collected so many over the years that I couldn't resist the urge to put them to good use. And that's when the idea hit me - why not create a cushion website? It was the perfect project to keep me busy during those long days at home.

So, I spent my time compiling ideas and had cushions made up from designer fabrics and textural plains. And let me tell you, they turned out even better than I had imagined! But of course, I couldn't have done it all alone. I enlisted the help of my photographer, George, to capture the essence of these beautiful cushions. Together, we set up a photography studio in my workspace using a large white table and white rolled background. We filled each cushion cover and photographed them, displaying the front, back, and sides. We even stacked a few coordinating cushions for inspiration. And after a full day of photographing the first batch of cushions, we added them to a Squarespace website.

I made sure to include all the fabric details and dimensions for each cushion, and my graphic designer Sian helped me create the perfect layout for easy selection. And that's not all - I even contacted my favourite fabric brands and asked if I could offer their products online alongside my CB Collection range. Because let's face it, when it comes to fabrics, the more the merrier!

Now, I continue to add new products and brands to the site, as well as new handmade additions to the CB Collection by my workroom. And you know what? It's been a fun and exciting journey. I'm proud of what I've accomplished, and I hope that you will love these cushions as much as I do! So go ahead, take a look at my website, and let me know what you think. I can't wait to hear from you!
